24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Continue to pray Psalms 91.
COVID - 19 (Coronavirus)
The Preventive Steps Suggested by the Virginia Department of Health (Richmond Times Dispatch 3/11/20).
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth.
-Wash your hands often with soap and water. If you can’t do that, use hand sanitizer.
-If you are sick, stay home.
-Make sure you cover your mouth and nose -not with your hands - when coughing or sneezing.
-Clean frequently touched objects and surfaces.
In addition to this in our church gatherings Instead of hugging, kissing or shaking hands, you can give a big smile while placing your hand over your heart. Or just a greeting with a smile. Do not hold hands.
The point is to limit the passing of germs in a public setting. We want everyone to be SAFE.
Continue praying for our families, church. community, country and nation for God's protection. "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." In Jesus name, Amen.
Message from Pastor Wanda Wallace-Tucker
In the heighten intensity of the Coronavirus (COVID - 19) Little Mount's weekly and Sunday services have been cancelled until further notice. In the meantime, the church will be sanitized by cleaning all surface areas. Hand sanitizer has already been placed throughout the church. The guidelines issued by the Health Department has been posted on this page, the church website and bulletin board. It's my prayer that each of you remain safe and continue to give God the praise through this pandemic. We are not operating in fear but in concern for those vulnerable in contracting the virus. Continue praying for our families, church. community, country and nation for God's protection. "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." In Jesus name, Amen. Pastor Wallace-Tucker

We pledge to keep God first as we continue to go higher and higher than we could ever think or imagine. Remember, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13).

The Virginia Baptist State Convention, Inc. -Covid-19/Coronavirus Response
In response to COVID-19 coronavirus, it has created panic and mayhem all over. I am convinced that God has not been taken by surprise and that He knows what’s up the road. I believe in every situation there ought to be a response, and in this instance, we must rely on the precautionary measures suggested by the health officials. We encourage churches and church leaders to use wisdom, discretion and not succumb to fear and her tactics. Through this pandemic let God’s voice speak louder than that of conspiracy theorists. Social distancing is taking on many faces, yet our judgment calls should be context-based. In my context, we have not opted to cancel worship. We have upgraded our sanitary measures and offer some suggestions. Hand washing is encouraged; sanitize the facility regularly; Ushers are asked to handle the main door opening; Food prep & distribution should be minimal; spacious small gatherings are encouraged versus large gatherings. We don’t embrace fear tactics but encourage wisdom, discretion, and prudence.
Please know that our concern is further directed toward our Annual Session in Williamsburg, and we are believing that we will not be affected. You may view Hilton.com for their commitment to us and our website for any updates going forward.
Praying for you all...
We are the little church on the side of the road (Highway 46) filled with big hearts and the love of God. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for our statement of faith. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.
