Bio for Reverend Dr. Wanda Wallace-Tucker

Rev. Dr. Wanda Wallace -Tucker is the fifth of seven siblings born to the late John Lee and Louellen Wyche Fisher on May 4, 1953.  She is a 1971 graduate from Dinwiddie County High School. She has completed several courses in Accounting at Virginia State University. 

Dr. Wallace-Tucker received an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from the International College of Bible Theology, Sikeston, MO.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology, Sikeston, MO, in June 2012.  She received a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies in December 2018, and a Doctor of Divinity Studies in December 2019 from Tabernacle Divinity School, Hopewell, VA.  

After 40 years of service for the Federal Government, she retired as the Deputy Director of Military Pay, Defense Finance and Accounting Services at Fort Lee, VA.  She currently serves as the first female Moderator of the Ebenezer Baptist Association. She is the Reporter for the Baptist Ministers Conference of Petersburg and Vicinity and the Administrative Assistant for the Tabernacle Divinity School, Hopewell, Virginia.

She was licensed to preach the Gospel in July 2004 and served as Associate Minister at the First Baptist Church, McKenney, VA under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Alvin J. Gurley.

Dr. Wallace-Tucker was installed as Pastor of the Little Mount Baptist Church, Blackstone, VA, in April 2006.  Where she has been serving for the past 17 years.

Dr. Wallace-Tucker is the author of “Anointing Attracts Attacks! A Journey to Divine Inspiration” that was published in 2020, and “Why Not Me” published in 2022.

She is married to First Gentleman Charles Tucker, and they reside in Chesterfield, VA.  She is a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother, but most of all she is a born-again child of God.
